Help Sponsor the Care of an Animal
Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine International Veterinary Student Association - Adopt A Nicaraguan Animal
The 2011 Annual Nicaragua trip is made up of 25 students from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine who donate their time to provide veterinary services to animal patients on Ometepe Island, Nicaragua. The website tells all about this worthwhile program provided by the students. Some of the services include client education, spay and neuter clinics, vaccinations, and minor treatment procedures for the island’s dogs, (and this year will also include horses, cows, pigs, goats and chickens) many of whom have never been examined by a veterinarian or received even basic health care.
Learn how to help sponsor the care of a Nicaraguan animal, which would make a fine gift for any animal lover!
